Securing major gifts and planned giving commitments requires a strategic approach and deep donor relationships. This session will guide you through the fundamentals of major gift fundraising, from prospect identification to cultivation and solicitation. We will also demystify planned giving, providing insights into how to introduce legacy giving opportunities and engage donors in meaningful, long-term support of your organization.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Identify and segment potential major gift and planned giving prospects.
- Understand the motivations and decision-making processes of major donors.
- Develop personalized cultivation and stewardship strategies to engage high-net-worth individuals.
- Articulate the benefits of planned giving options and incorporate them into donor conversations.
- Create a sustainable major gifts and planned giving pipeline to ensure long-term funding growth.
