The goal of this workshop is to empower participants to understand the DISC model and apply it in their professional and personal interactions.  It will be an interactive and engaging session, combining informational presentations, group discussions, and practical activities.  Leaders with an understanding of DISC often see improved communication and collaboration within their teams as well as increased self-awareness and understanding of personal strengths and challenges.  A few of the topics presented include: 


-  An explanation of the four primary personality traits: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness
- Exploration of how different DISC styles communicate and interact
- Application of DISC insights to enhance team collaboration
- Practical tips for adapting communication styles to different situations
- Personalized action plans for applying DISC insights in their daily interactions

About the Presenter

Dr. Deeawn Roundtree is the accomplished CEO of Roundtree Training & Consulting. She is a Senior Certified Professional with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP), a Certified Leadership Coach, Trainer, and Speaker with the John Maxwell Team, and a Certified DISC Trainer and Consultant. Her passion for helping others has inspired her to teach and conduct workshops on personal and professional development topics, providing individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to achieve their goals.  Dr. Roundtree's proven methods will enhance your untapped personal abilities and improve your company's bottom line.

Her educational background is impressive, with a Doctor of Ministry degree from South University, a Doctorate of Business Administration degree from Wilmington University, an M.S. degree in Professional Leadership with a concentration in Training and Development, and a B.S. degree in Business Management from Carlow University.

Dr. Roundtree is deeply involved in the community. She holds positions on the boards of the Black Chamber of Commerce Palm Beach County, the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County, Genesis Community Health Center, and the Women's Circle. Moreover, she plays an active role on the leadership committee of Palm Beach County SHRM (PBCSHRM), holds the title of Charter Member and 2nd VP of Operations at the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. - Alpha Alpha Upsilon Omega Chapter, and is an Advisory Board Member for ICABA and IMPACT the Palm Beaches. Notably, she graduated from the Leadership Palm Beach County – Engage Class of 2023 and has received prestigious awards, including the 2023 Ascension Award-Emerging Black Business of the Year from the Black Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County, recognition as one of Legacy Magazine's Most Influential and Powerful Black Professionals in 2023, and an International Career and Business Alliance (ICABA) Salutes Women of Impact Award recipient. She also received two nominations for both the 2023 Giraffe Award from the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County and the Florida Supplier Minority Diversity Council’s (FSMDC) Business Impact’s Humanitarian Award.
